Trips for International Experience
P4 LEARNING JOURNEY TO JOHOR BAHRU 2019
A total of 135 Primary 4 pupils and 20 teachers went for the 1-day learning journey to Johor Bahru on 18th and 19th March 2019.
They visited the Malay Cultural Village where pupils experienced local culture and way of life in an authentic kampong setting. The pupils expressed their creativity through the batik painting and learnt how to make soap from raw ingredients.
They also visited the Edible Park where pupils gained insightful knowledge and understanding of diversity of agriculture and geography of Malaysia. Besides taking an insightful lesson on the edible parts of the diversity of plants grown in the park, the pupils also had fun creating a piece of art with the dyes from flowers and leaves.
It was indeed a fun-filled learning experience for the pupils!

A total of 148 Primary 4 pupils and 20 teachers went for the 1-day learning journey to Johor Bahru on 12th and 13th March 2018. They visited the Zenxin Organic Park and the Malay Cultural Village and participated in many interesting activities.
P5 OVERSEAS LEARNING TRIP TO HONG KONG 2016
A trip for international experience to Hong Kong was organised for a group of 30 Primary 5 pupils together with 6 teachers from 30 May to 2 June 2016. The objectives of this immersion programme were to develop in pupils the 21st Century Competencies of global awareness and cross cultural skills and sensitivities. In addition, it also served to provide an opportunity for pupils to experience the vibrant culture unique to Hong Kong. Pupils were also encouraged to display the school core values of Respect, Accountability and Collaboration in this trip. Places of interest visited include the Science and History Museum, Disneyland, Victoria Peak, Golden Bauhinia Square, Aberdeen Fishing Village and a rural farm in the new territories. The pupils had also the opportunity to visit HK STW Dr Catherine F Woo Memorial School, a local school in Hong Kong where they interacted with local pupils. During the visit, the pupils were engaged in environmental activities such as recycling and the making of essential oil. Indeed, it was a memorable learning trip for the pupils!
Trip to Hong Kong 2015
On 2 June 2015, thirty-six Primary 5 pupils accompanied by six teachers went on an overseas learning journey to Hong Kong. The main objectives of this trip were to provide opportunities for pupils to experience the vibrant culture unique to Hong Kong and develop global awareness as well as our school core values namely Respect, Accountability and Collaboration. The four days three nights trip brought the pupils to various places of interests that allowed them to experience different sights and sounds in Hong Kong. The places visited include Lantau Island, Victoria Peak, Avenue of Stars and Symphony of Lights, Disneyland Hong Kong and Hong Kong History & Science Museums. For most of the pupils, it was a totally new experience for them as it was their first time going overseas as well as away from their families. To the pupils, what was most valuable was the fact that they learnt to be independent and along the way they made new friends too.
EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL IMMERSION PROGRAMME TO HONG KONG, FOR P5 PUPILS
35 selected P5 pupils went on an Educational and Cultural Immersion Programme to Hong Kong, from 4 June to 8 June 2014. They were accompanied by 8 teachers The objectives of this immersion programme were to:
develop in our pupils the 21st Century Competencies of global awareness and cross cultural skills and sensitivities;
- provide an opportunity for pupils to experience the vibrant culture unique to Hong Kong, and
- enable our pupils to display the school core values of Respect, Accountability and Collaboration in this trip.
The pupils visited 2 primary schools namely, Chiu Yang Por Yen Primary School and St Bonaventure Catholic Primary School where they interacted with the students there. Other places of interest that they visited were the Ocean Park, Hong Kong Wetlands Park, Victoria Peak, Hong Kong Space, Science and History Museums.

The P4 pupils visited a kampong where they experienced local cultures in an authentic setting. There was also a visit to a fruit farm where pupils gained more understanding and appreciation of the different agriculture and geography of Malaysia
